| To backup and restore SMS message, you need to install this SMS backup and restore software first. Step 1: Download iMobileTool SMS Backup or purchase iMobileTool SMS Backup. Download size is small, and the price is only $19.95. Step 2. Check the system version of your mobile phone. Select "Start" -> "Settings" -> "System" -> "About". If your Mobile is not support by our software, so, you can't backup and restore with our tool.  Step 3. Copy the installation file "iMobileToolSMSBackupSetup.CAB" with the right version as you have checked to your mobile device. You may need to connect your device to a host computer by using ActiveSync. You can also transfer the file using a memory card. Step 4. On your device, navigate to the location of the CAB file using File Explorer. Click on the CAB file (displayed as the following screenshot) and click "Install" to begin installation.  Step 5. Now installation completes. Select "OK" to continue.  How to backup SMS messages? Now you will want to input a backup file name, select folder, choose a backup file type(txt file or sms file) and select a save location.
